Job summary

Rounding, admissions, perioperative care, and procedure support are required as part of a fast-paced team caring for critical cardiac patients.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider required.
• Experience in ICU/critical care, including cardiac patients.
• Eligible to practice as NP or PA in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounding and patient management in the ICU.
• Admissions and postoperative care for critical care patients.
• Perform critical care procedures as part of the cardiac ICU team.

Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50

This facility is seeking a Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 13 hours per shift. Shifts are either 7:00 AM–8:00 PM or 7:00 PM–8:00 AM. Includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Inpatient, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

Types of Cases: Critical care cardiac patients, including ventricular assist devices, venoarterial and venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, Impella, and cardiac transplant patients. Daily rounding, patient management, admissions, postoperative care, and procedures.

Patient Load: 8–12 patients per shift; Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
