Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in a hospital setting. Intermittent night shifts (6pm–6am) with weekend day shifts possible, handling high-acuity cases with arterial and central lines, consults, and codes. Nighttime intubations are not performed.

The ideal candidate will hold board certification, an active Pennsylvania license, DEA, and ACLS/BLS. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Board certification in critical care required.
• Active Pennsylvania license with DEA registration.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant credential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to high-acuity critical care cases in the ICU.
• Perform arterial and central line procedures as needed.
• Provide bedside consults and code responses.
• Night shift coverage 6pm-6am; weekend day shifts possible.

This facility is seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Intermittent night shifts (6pm-6am). Must have availability for weekend day shifts as well. (6am-6pm)
• Job Setting: Hospital.
• Types of Cases: Arterial Lines, Central Lines, consults, Codes - NO Intubations done at night; High Acuity Cases.
• Board Certification required.
• Must have an active Pennsylvania license, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Certification (BLS).
