Job Details

Location: Lebanon VA Medical Center

Pay Range: $169,418.00/yr - $267,503.00/yr (based on skills and experience)

Summary

This is an open continuous announcement. Candidates will be referred every two weeks. Nurse Anesthesia is an advanced clinical nursing specialty focusing on development of clinical judgment and critical thinking. CRNAs are qualified to render patients insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and invasive procedures using various anesthesia techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Selection: Conduct anesthesia assessments, pre-operative evaluations, patient education, and discussions with anesthesiologists.
  • Patient Monitoring: Perform sedation and general anesthesia, provide regional anesthetics, and restock equipment.
  • Postoperative Care: Arrange monitored care, document follow-up, participate in quality improvement, maintain emergency equipment, and manage postoperative analgesia.
  • Administrative Duties: Take call, develop schedules, maintain credentials, participate in committees, and assist in departmental operations.

Requirements
