Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey

Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in New Jersey.

In an effort to maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine, Thriveworks does not push or incentivize the use of stimulant medications; instead, we offer them as an option based on the client’s specific symptoms and diagnosis, with prescribing decisions left to the discretion of the clinician. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in-person provider when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine treatment.

Thriveworks Nurse Practitioners provide care to a diverse population with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. They work with a broad range of age groups, primarily adults and adolescents, with plans to expand care across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
• Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus
• Three years of experience is a plus
• Must be licensed and residing in the state of practice
• All clinicians must complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, followed by a certification exam. All new hires are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic to treat ADHD clients; there are no quotas for clients or prescriptions.

Compensation

• This is a Fee-for-Service position, with an annual range of $140,000-$200,000 based on 25-35 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine
• Prescribe medication as needed to reduce mental health symptoms
• Develop and collaborate on care plans with clients
• Complete necessary paperwork and assessments
• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff
