Job summary
AtlantiCare seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse to provide high-quality patient care within our specialty programs in New Jersey. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, joint protocols with collaborating physicians, and efficient resource use.
The incumbent will work with physician leaders and staff to drive clinical outcomes, participate in quality initiatives, and support organization-wide educational efforts. A strong clinical foundation and teaching involvement are required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school or NJ grandfathered status.
- Current RN license in New Jersey and board certification.
- Specialty certification with granted privileges from Atlantic City Medical Center staff.
- NRNNP, C or RNCNS, C registry unencumbered.
- ACLS required; BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, cost-effective patient care in specialty practice.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve clinical outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement and education programs.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and seek professional development.
- Contribute to teaching activities and peer review within the department.
