Job summary

The selected candidate will assess and optimize patients prior to surgery, review histories and medications, and collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teams to ensure safe perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Advanced practice clinician with licensure (APN or PA) is required.
• Clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans within scope of practice.
• Perform patient history and physical exams for procedures or admissions.
• Provide education to patients and families about care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, nursing, and other staff for coordinated perioperative care.
• Document clinical findings and care provided in patient records.
• Support research and professional development through educational activities.
