Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required; MSN preferred.
• Nursing license with MA Board authorization to practice as an APRN NRSG.
• Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA; BLS certificate.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations and formulates care plans.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests; educates patients and families.
• Acts as an educator and clinical resource for staff via consultations and seminars.
• Coordinates patient care and liaises with nursing, physicians, and services.
• Documents encounters clearly and timely; works in an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides direct patient care and management for opioid patients.
