Job summary

TRISTAR seeks an experienced Advance Planner to support complex planning, scheduling, and operational analysis for U.S. Navy modernization programs.

You will apply advanced analytical techniques to improve organizational effectiveness, optimize resource utilization, and support strategic decision-making. The role collaborates with program managers, production planners, engineering teams, and government stakeholders to analyze workflow, develop production schedules, and identify risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in operations research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in operations analysis, production planning, scheduling, or program management support.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience supporting Navy modernization or related programs.
  • Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze master production schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Evaluate processes to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses related to scheduling, workforce allocation, material availability.
  • Develop predictive models, forecasts, and performance metrics for decision-making.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and project managers to resolve schedule conflicts.
