Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Patient Care Technician III to support high-acuity units. You will provide patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with procedures, and communicate effectively with RNs.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED and BLS certification.
• Demonstrated competency in PCT II/III level and related clinical care.
• Experience in inpatient care, strong English communication and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to RN about patient observations.
• Maintain constant observation of high-risk patients and safety.
• Assist with daily living activities and patient positioning with safe techniques.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, POC tests and specimen handling per standards.
