Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Technical Marketing Manager for advanced packaging to define value propositions and drive adoption across semiconductor customers.

You will translate complex engineering concepts into compelling messages and develop assets such as briefs, whitepapers, and webinars to enable sales teams. You’ll lead market sizing, track competitors, and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to shape strategy, while coordinating with operations for

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or packaging; direct exposure to BEOL/FEOL processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in a matrix environment.
• Experience with pricing strategy, product launches, and field enablement.
• Familiarity with reliability, yield, and metrology/inspection data as it relates to packaging performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate clear value propositions for advanced packaging process control solution.
• Create technical marketing assets: product briefs, solution whitepapers, competitive analyses, benchmark data summaries, presentations, and webinars.
• Translate complex engineering concepts into clear messaging for varied audiences.
• Market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis for advanced packaging ecosystems.
• Track competitive landscape and emerging technologies; provide insights to executives and product teams.
• Lead competitor H2H, drive new product evaluation and adoption.
• Partner with product marketing and engineering to shape product strategy based on competitive and customer insights.
• Coordinate with operations and manufacturing for product readiness and customer alignment.
