Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell's Central Engineering team is seeking a talented High-speed IC package layout design engineer to develop advanced microelectronic packages for semiconductors supporting data rates up to 224 Gb/s. Responsibilities include package layout design, signal and power integrity routing, considering manufacturing and assembly tolerances, and interfacing with package suppliers to select IC package technology, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with assembly design rules.

What You Can Expect

  • Experience with 2.5D package design and development
  • Proficiency with IC package layout tools like Cadence APD or Mentor XPD
  • Understanding of IC package design requirements for high-speed interfaces
  • Collaboration with IC physical design teams to optimize ASIC die floor plans
  • Experience working with substrate suppliers, OSATs, and silicon fab vendors
  • Experience with IC package assembly development and requirements
  • Familiarity with IC layout tools (highly desired)
  • Ability to automate layout tasks using scripting
  • Design of power planes translating power supply requirements
  • Knowledge of IC packaging technologies, materials, substrate design, and assembly rules
  • Experience with new product introduction from concept to production (a plus)
  • Knowledge of thermal and mechanical analysis of IC packages (a plus)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills as a team player

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 5-8 years of experience, or Master's/PhD with 1-3 years of experience

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

$105,470 - $158,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. This range may be adjusted based on market factors.

Our total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, and equity.
