Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Advanced Project Manager to lead sub-system projects within the Dukovany Ovation Systems and to drive design baselines, cost estimates, and risk management. This mobile role can be performed from Cranberry Township, PA and/or Warrendale, PA with travel to U.S. and international customer sites.

You will report to the Sr. Program Manager and collaborate with GIC engineering and GICP facilities, ensuring compliant project outcomes and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in project management, engineering, business, construction management or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred in project management, engineering, construction or business.
• 5+ years of experience as project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects (3 years PM + 2 years tech leadership may be considered).
• 6+ years of PM experience in technical industries such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or construction preferred.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial nuclear industry, global work experience and strong business acumen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management processes for several high complexity sub-systems with medium-sized teams (~30 members).
• Oversee development of component designs and cost estimates; support/customer concurrent engineering and establish design baselines.
• Create and manage project management plans, scope, schedule, and cost baselines; manage risks and stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources, communicate with stakeholders, manage project records, and ensure proper change management.
• Follow tollgate/process controls and document learnings and best practices.
• Close projects with archival records, final quality assessment and opportunities for improvement.
• Cultivate relationships with team, customer and stakeholders in a matrix environment to enable successful completion and growth.
• Support financial planning through tracking and forecasting spending.
