Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Dukovany Safety Class 1E Instrumentation and Controls upgrade. You will own scope, schedule, cost, quality, and commercial outcomes for a large, complex project delivering safety-related I&C systems to a Commercial Nuclear Power Plant.

The role reports to the Senior Program Manager - I&C Safety Systems and is based in Cranberry Township, PA in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
• 10 years of project management experience leading and directing high-complexity projects with cost/schedule/accountability.
• 5+ years in a technical/engineering lead role plus 5+ years as a project manager equivalent considered.
• Proven ability to analyze information and make sound decisions in complex situations.
• Practical mastery of project management principles (e.g., PMI PMBOK) applied with judgment.

Responsibilities

• Hold full accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the program, including manufacturing and Main Control Room scope.
• Drive day-to-day execution and meet quality, schedule, and financial commitments.
• Directly accountable for program manufacturing performance, including quality and on-time delivery.
• Ensure sub-projects are delivered within budget and take corrective action as needed.
• Lead, coach, and direct technical and administrative personnel; set expectations and remove obstacles.
• Own customer and stakeholder relationships across cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Ensure contractual requirements are met and manage scope changes rigorously.
• Lead negotiation of variation orders and other commercial matters with customers and suppliers.
• Protect project financial performance through forecasting, cost control, and change management.
• Identify and implement improvements to execution, tools, and processes.
