Williams in Louisiana is seeking an Operations Technician II-III to read and interpret drawings, support pipeline operations, and safely maintain facility equipment with emphasis on compliance and data-driven problem solving.

The role involves data analysis, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration to resolve technical and operational issues while adhering to company policies; after-hours shifts and occasional travel may be required.

Formación

• Requires High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role.
• Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in oil and gas.

Responsabilidades

• Performs tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements
• Data analysis and collaboration with others to resolve technical or operational problems
• Follows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
• Maintains knowledge of safety requirements and community/environment/assets protection
• Completes reports, logs and maintains accurate process operation records and preventive maintenance
• Performs preventive compressor maintenance and supports major equipment repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls
• Solves problems, troubleshoots, operates and maintains all natural gas processing plant equipment and facilities
• Other duties as assigned
