Job summary

Williams is seeking an Operations Technician II-III specialized in Measurement to join the Grand Cane, LA facility. The role focuses on reading and interpreting drawings, supporting pipeline operations, and safely maintaining equipment while analyzing data to resolve technical issues.

Required three years of related experience or a relevant technical degree. Candidates should be comfortable with after-hours work, travel between Williams locations, and using tools like SCADA and PLCs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 3+ years as an operations technician or similar role.
• Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree.
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of centrifugal machinery.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations.
• Read/interprete drawings; inspect and supervise equipment.
• Analyze data to resolve technical or operational problems.
• Maintain records and complete reports/logs.
• Calibrate and validate gas/liquid flow measurement devices.
• Operate and troubleshoot SCADA and related control systems.
