Job summary

Williams Companies is seeking an Operations Technician III to support pipeline operations, read drawings, maintain equipment, and analyze data to solve technical issues. This role emphasizes safety, permits, compliance, and accurate record-keeping across facilities.

You will work after hours as needed, travel between Williams locations, and contribute to preventative maintenance efforts while following company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years in an operations technician role.
• Preferred: 2-year technical degree and 2+ years in multifaceted operations in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements.
• Analyze data and collaborate with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems.
• Follow all Company policies and apply operating and maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to safety requirements and protect community, personnel, environment and assets.
• Maintain knowledge of site/equipment/permits and compliance.
• Complete reports/logs and maintain records of process operations and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair reciprocating engines, compressors, and related mechanical equipment.
• Other duties as assigned
