Job summary

Qualifications

• Master of Science is required for the APN role.
• CRNP requires a Master’s Degree or DNP and more than 2.5 years of experience; Acute Care Certification preferred.
• National Board Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical care for outpatient oncology patients per established protocols.
• Maintains accurate and confidential medical records in the EHR; documents evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and education.
• Collaborates with supervising/collaborating physicians and health care team; refers to physician when outside scope.
• Precepts students and health care learners as part of clinical education.
• Addresses patient and family concerns and provides education on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
