Job summary

Highlands Oncology Group in Springdale, AR seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join a compassionate, high-performing oncology team. The APP collaborates with oncologists to deliver comprehensive cancer care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, guiding patient assessment, exams, and interventions with autonomy.

This role requires AR licensure, ability to perform procedures, and alignment with NCCN/UpToDate resources, while working weekends on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• The APP has a minimum of one or more years of experience with preference formed medical oncology or acute care.
• Maintains current, unencumbered license(s) including DEA.
• Oncology certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to oncology/hematology patients in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Manage acute symptoms related to the disease and/or treatment.
• Work independently while collaborating with Medical Oncologists and other providers.
• Instruct patients and families on treatment courses.
• Comply with HIPAA and clinic policies.
