Zusammenfassung

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the North Ayrshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service, based at Caley Court Resource Centre, Stevenson. This permanent post is 36 hours per week and requires a UK driving licence.

You will assess, manage and treat addiction presentations, lead a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to education and audit initiatives within the service.

Qualifikationen

• First Level Registered Nurse – RMN.
• Evidence of continuing professional development incl. masters level modules in advanced practice, clinical assessment and non-medical prescribing.
• Demonstrable leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a complex environment with initiative.

Aufgaben

• Assess patients, plan and implement care, provide specialist advice and maintain high standard of clinical record keeping.
• Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary community team to ensure high standard of care.
• Lead, supervise and advise nursing staff and coordinate contributions of the multi-professional team.
• Participate in audit and quality assurance programmes to promote evidence-based practice.
