Avenues Recovery Center, a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers, seeks an advanced practice clinician to lead medical care throughout treatment. Duties include creating tailored care plans, monitoring patients, and coordinating with medical and UR teams to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Requirements include unrestricted FNP/PMH-NP/PA-C certification with Maryland license, DEA, and CPR, plus excellent communication and multitasking abilities to thrive in a high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted FNP/PMH-NP/PA-C certification valid in Maryland.
• Federal DEA certification and a valid state medical license.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong observational and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with multitasking capability.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized medical care plans and monitor/adjust treatments.
• Stabilize patients and support engagement in treatment.
• Update orders, review UDS and lab results, and coordinate care.
• Document all medical interventions and directives thoroughly.
• Maintain daily/weekly patient appointment scheduling efficiently.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for seamless care.
