Adult & Teen Challenge AR is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join a faith-based addiction treatment program. The APN will provide comprehensive medical and psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing patient-centered care and relapse prevention.

The role requires NP licensure, MSN/DNP, and DEA registration, with flexibility for evening or weekend hours and driving to patients as needed. DEA/regulatory compliance and documentation in EHRs are essential.

Qualificações

• Must have MSN or DNP and NP board certification.
• Licensed APRN in the practicing state.
• DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
• Experience in addiction medicine, mental health, or primary care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments.
• Evaluate withdrawal symptoms and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and potential side effects.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and response.
• Provide brief counseling and psychoeducation on addiction, relapse prevention, and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and social workers to integrate behavioral health interventions.
• Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations regarding controlled substances and addiction treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Other duties as assigned.
