Location: 301 Lippincott Drive - Marlton. No work from home or remote capabilities.

Shift: 8a to 4:30p, Monday - Friday.

Weekends/Holidays: No weekends, no holidays.

May have to go in the field to educate.

A minimum of 2 -5 years recent clinical experience in homecare is required, preferably at an advanced level.

Job Summary:

The Advanced Nurse Clinician's primary focus is ensuring clinical outcomes for specific patient populations through staff development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical leadership. The ANC applies High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles aiming for zero harm. They adhere to ANA standards and ethics, aligning their work with the organization’s mission and vision. Supervision is provided collaboratively by the division's AVP/VP and the Director of Clinical Practice and Education.

Position Responsibilities
Clinical Quality and Safety
  • Interpret clinical, technical, and patient data to improve quality and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on evidence-based patient care approaches.
  • Support patient throughput by facilitating individualized care plans.
  • Use evidence-based practices to address clinical quality issues through inquiry and innovation.
  • Communicate practice changes and ensure implementation of new policies and technologies.
  • Lead in councils and committees as a subject matter expert to ensure quality and safety.
  • Promote shared governance principles across the organization.
Professional Development
  • Coordinate orientation and education for new staff.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource for staff education needs.
  • Foster a learning environment using Relationship Based Care principles.
  • Mentor staff and promote professional growth.
  • Advance nursing practice through research and lifelong learning.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and initiate actions for clinical excellence.
  • Manage ongoing competency assessments.
  • Evaluate educational return on investment.
  • Build relationships with academic partners to develop future workforce.
Required Experience and Education
  • 2 to 5 years recent clinical experience in the specialty area, preferably at an advanced level.
  • Masters Degree in Nursing or near completion of an advanced degree.
  • Current RN licensure in NJ.
  • Certification requirements include BLS minimum, ACLS for critical care, labor and delivery, emergency department, NRP for neonatal areas, and PALS for pediatric/emergency areas.
