Job summary
HCLTech is seeking a Tier 2 Network Engineer to support Managed Services networks, focusing on incident triage, initial troubleshooting, and cross-team coordination with NOC, Engineering, and PMO. You will engage directly with customers to explain technical results and drive resolutions.
The role requires CCNA and hands-on experience with WAN/LAN, SDWAN, and wireless LAN technologies, with 3–6 years in enterprise environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent.
- Active CCNA certification is required; CCNP is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN/SDWAN concepts and routing protocols.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise class routers/switches.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Willing to work 24x7 rotational shifts.
Responsibilities
- Initial incident troubleshooting and triage.
- Collaborate with NOC, Engineering, PMO on product-wide issues.
- Provide 2nd level support for Managed Network Services customers.
- Communicate technical details to customers and internal teams.
- Support MWAN, MLAN, MWLAN, and SDWAN deployments.
- Coordinate with field tech for circuit-related issues.
