Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc. in the CRH South Central Division seeks an experienced Motorgrader operator for road construction projects in Alabama. You will operate motorgraders and related machinery on public works and private contracts, ensuring safe, efficient grading and drainage.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, understanding grading patterns, and aligning with project specs. Prior equipment operation experience is required; training will cover site specifics and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating construction equipment.
• Knowledge of road construction practices and standards.
• Willingness to perform minor maintenance and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Prior experience operating construction equipment.
• May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Possess a solid understanding of aspects of the road construction industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, and compaction.
• Must be willing and able to learn the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• May perform other related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, and layout.
