Job summary

TIC_Craft is seeking an experienced millwright to plan, lay out, install and align equipment in accordance with project plans and industry standards. The role involves working with other crafts as needed and following safety rules on a busy construction site.

Responsibilities include diagramming and laying out millwright work, measuring and aligning machinery, rigging and testing installed equipment, and dismantling and moving machinery as required.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for millwright's work.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery and install all other items.
• Review and verify inventory of equipment/machine components; prepare foundation and alignments; set elevations and ensure proper placement.
• Torque equipment and machinery; rig machinery and direct crane operators; test and adjust installed machinery.
• Dismantle machines using hand tools; move machinery with hoists, dollies and trucks.
• Assemble equipment and anchor to foundations or structures per project specs.
