Job summary

Cryogenic Industrial Solutions LLC is hiring a Level 2 Welder to perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel components. You will read complex blueprints, fabricate custom parts, and work from detailed drawings to meet precise tolerances.

Welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions is required, along with basic quality checks and initial NDT prep. Applicants should have 2+ years of experience or equivalent training and knowledge of ASME/AWS standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience or equivalent training.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG on carbon and stainless steel.
• Able to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Welding in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
• Familiar with ASME and AWS welding standards.
• Lift 50+ lbs and stand for long durations in shop/field.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel to precise tolerances.
• Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Perform welds in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
• Conduct quality control checks, including dimensional verification and basic NDT preparation.
• Assist in developing jigs, fixtures, and process improvements.
• Maintain welder logs, repair records, and consumable usage documentation.
