Job summary

AOC Outreach Services is seeking a Mental Health Associate (LPC-Associate) to provide counseling and behavioral health services under supervision in Texas. The role focuses on client-centered, evidence-based practices and accurate clinical documentation.

You will conduct assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and collaborate with the supervision team to ensure ethical, compliant care while maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of counseling principles, behavioral health practices, and ethical standards.
• Ability to provide counseling services within training, competence, and licensure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to establish professional therapeutic relationships with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling within the LPC-Associate scope and supervision plan.
• Complete assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and required documentation.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships in a safe, respectful environment.
• Implement counseling interventions based on client needs and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising LPC and treatment team.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and apply supervision feedback.
