Job summary

St. Clair Health Cancer Center seeks a full-time Medical Dosimetrist to join a skilled team, coordinating with radiation oncologists and physicists.

The role involves CT simulation, planning, QA, and plan implementation within an integrated ARIA/Eclipse environment, working with advanced TrueBeam/IX linacs. The candidate should be board-certified (MDCB) or board-eligible with plans to certify within two attempts in the first two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Medical Dosimetry program.
• Board certified by the Medical Dosimetrists Certification Board (MDCB).
• Board eligible candidates must become certified within two attempts in the first two years.

Responsibilities

• Generate clinically optimal treatment plans for radiation therapy patients in collaboration with the oncology team.
• Participate in CT simulation, treatment planning, and quality management for radiation oncology patients.
• Communicate with the clinical team during planning and plan implementation.
• Contouring of normal and planning target volumes; image registration and dose calculations.

Education
