Job summary

St. Clair Health is hiring a full-time, board-certified Medical Dosimetrist to join a multi-disciplinary team affiliated with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. The role involves CT simulation, treatment planning, QA, and collaboration with physicists and oncologists using Varian TrueBeam/IX systems with ARIA/Eclipse.

The candidate will contribute to 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and advanced planning techniques while engaging in clinical research and staff training. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• JM/JRCERT-accredited Medical Dosimetry program.
• Board certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
• Board-eligible candidates must become certified within two attempts in the first two years.

Responsibilities

• Assist RTT in treatment simulation and immobilization for accurate planning.
• Contour and delineate normal and planning structures across imaging modalities.
• Perform 2D/3D/IMRT/VMAT/SRS/SBRT planning and dose calculations.
• Ensure data transfer to clinical systems and maintain accuracy for planning and treatment.
• Participate in QA procedures and clinical research to advance techniques.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred

JRCERT-accredited Medical Dosimetry program

MDCB Certification (Board certified)
