Job summary

St. Clair Health Cancer Center, affiliated with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, is seeking a full-time Medical Dosimetrist to join a collaborative team with two physicists, another dosimetrist, and five oncologists.

You will contribute to CT simulation, treatment planning, QA, and cross-disciplinary communication to deliver high-quality radiation therapy. The role supports 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, with advanced planning techniques and rigorous data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Medical Dosimetrist with CMD or eligible status.
• Familiarity with ARIA/Eclipse planning systems and Varian TrueBeam equipment.
• Strong knowledge of dose calculation, QA, and treatment planning principles.

Responsibilities

• Generate clinically optimal treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists and physicists.
• Participate in CT simulation, planning, and plan implementation.
• Contour and delineate critical structures and planning targets.
• Perform image registration and dose calculations for multi-modality imaging sets.
• Assist with QA and documentation for billing and clinical research.
