Job summary

The St. Clair Health Cancer Center, affiliated with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, is seeking a full-time Medical Dosimetrist to join a local team of dosimetrists and radiation oncologists.

You will generate clinically optimal treatment plans, participate in CT simulation and treatment planning, and collaborate with radiation oncologists, RTTs, and medical physicists to ensure precise and safe patient care. The role sits within the St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Completion of a Medical Dosimetry program accredited by JRCERT.
• Board certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
• Board-eligible candidates must become board certified within two attempts in the first two years.

Responsibilities

• Generate clinically optimal treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Participate in CT simulation and treatment planning processes.
• Perform quality management for radiation oncology patients.
• Contour and delineate normal structures and planning targets.
• Assist with dose calculations and plan evaluation.
• Assist with HDR/LDR brachytherapy procedures as needed.
• Support data transfer to clinical systems and documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
