Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC and E/M coding.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses, procedures, and disposition.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and cooperate with client staff.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and calls as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
