Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in materials science or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 5+ years in materials development or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with materials characterization techniques (SEM, DSC, TGA, DMA, FTIR).
• Knowledge of elastomer processing and plastics/metal coatings is a plus.
• Experience with electrical testing methods for conductive composites is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and implement advanced materials and processes for interconnect technologies.
• Prototype and validate emerging materials and processes through lab- and pilot-scale experiments.
• Design and execute test plans for material technologies in next-generation designs.
• Characterize electrical performance of conductive elastomers and composites.
• Support reliability testing and accelerated aging methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address material challenges.
• Interface with suppliers, labs, and universities on new materials.
• Analyze data with Excel, MATLAB, and Minitab to derive actionable insights.
• Document findings and present recommendations to stakeholders.
