Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Solon, OH to set up, operate, and maintain progressive die press machines and related equipment. You will produce quality parts by following blueprints and specifications, while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, detail orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Lift heavy materials and operate lifting equipment as needed to support manufacturing tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings, order sheets, schedules and instructions.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience with lift trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy-duty equipment to form and assemble products per blueprints.
• Assist with setup of dies, forming blocks, and adjust tooling.
• Check material size, type, and color against specs.
• Operate multiple automatic/multi-slide equipment.
• Observe safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
