Job summary

Moog Inc. in East Aurora, NY, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a high-visibility transformation of machining and support operations within the AIM facility.

You will own capital planning, automation initiatives, and cross-functional engineering initiatives to improve production, quality, and schedule performance. You will manage a team across machining, tool design, and special processes, delivering projects on schedule and driving long-term strategic improvements while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of progressive manufacturing engineer experience.
• 3+ years of proven leadership experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong project management skills with ability to deliver complex projects on schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead through change.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AIM transition: transfer machinery, tooling, and processes to the new AIM facility.
• Manage tactical and operational plans with KPIs and measurable results.
• Maintain a rolling 10-year capital plan for the area of responsibility.
• Oversee capital equipment selection, justification, acquisition, and onboarding.
• Monitor Target vs. Actual performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Define and execute manufacturing engineering strategies aligned with site objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements including automation.
• Establish and drive short-term plans to meet production, quality, and schedule goals.
