Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Schenectady, NY is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join the Industrialization team.

You will design, procure, install and qualify new manufacturing equipment and lead cross-functional projects to deliver production-ready processes. You will work with Design Engineers to ensure manufacturability, manage New Product Introduction, perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement, identifying automation opportunities to enhance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with 4 years in manufacturing.
• Alternate: high school diploma with 8+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing and project management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, procure, install and qualify new manufacturing equipment and manage cross-functional teams.
• Develop tooling, instructions, procedures and standards to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Manage New Product Introduction including tooling, equipment and project schedules.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
