Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II to optimize and advance our manufacturing processes on-site. You will drive continuous improvement, apply Lean Six Sigma and APQP tools, and lead cross-functional efforts to improve quality, yield, and efficiency.

You will own process capability for welding, brazing, and assembly steps, provide floor support, and collaborate with teams to implement automation and data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (STEM).
• 2+ years in advanced manufacturing engineering or process optimization.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and APQP tools is required.
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, additive manufacturing is preferred.
• Statistical process control and data-driven problem solving experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Own process capability and control for critical welding, brazing, and assembly processes.
• Lead RCCA and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reduce variation.
