As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join the team. Reporting to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this position will develop and implement new manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and ensure proper quality. You will participate in the development of the product design ensuring that design for manufacturing standards are achieved.
An overview of your responsibilities:
- Contribute to a team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing processes for new and existing products
- Participate in Design for Manufacturing workshops and work closely with design engineers to ensure product designs are optimized for efficient, scalable, and cost-effective
- Define manufacturing processes, equipment specifications, and tooling for new products
- Design processes and layouts for proper and efficient material flow throughout the facility
- Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment achieve the highest quality standards by creating PFMEA, control plans, and equipment capability studies
- Evaluate and integrate advanced manufacturing technologies
- Ensure proper launch and handover of manufacturing projects to production team
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What you'll need, among other things!
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Proven experience in Design for Manufacturing and New Product Introduction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various departments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of CAD and other design and simulation software
