We are expanding rapidly, with two new state-of-the-art production facilities in Mesa, Arizona. This growth reflects our commitment to advancing sustainable infrastructure solutions that support the AI revolution and other critical industries.

As part of this expansion, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer who will transform ideas and requirements into high-quality 3D models and technical drawings that support manufacturing, assembly, and installation. You will collaborate closely with production, quality, and suppliers to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions that meet both customer and internal standards.

Main responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and submittal packages in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
  • Work with the production team to resolve design and manufacturing issues, making modifications as needed to improve manufacturability and assembly.
  • Collaborate with the quality department to analyze nonconformities, develop corrective actions, and present design solutions to customers when required.
  • Select mechanical components and materials, and work with suppliers and external partners to develop and refine new concepts.
  • Interpret and follow design briefs, specifications, and applicable standards to develop practical, innovative product solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new designs, improvements, and product changes throughout the development cycle.
  • Prepare all necessary detail, assembly, and arrangement drawings required for parts and equipment to be manufactured, assembled, erected, and maintained, in accordance with health and safety policies and industry standards.
  • Create detailed layouts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and clearances, ensuring that components fit together correctly and function as intended.
  • Maintain and update design documentation, drawing revisions, and bill of materials (BOMs) in an organized and traceable manner.
  • Participate in design reviews, provide input on design improvements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Practical experience with at least one 3D CAD software package (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar) is required.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor is considered an asset but is not mandatory; training can be provided for strong candidates.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to clearly communicate design concepts and technical information to colleagues in other disciplines (e.g., production, quality, purchasing, and sales).
  • Able to work effectively under deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to keep documentation and files well-structured.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently when required.
  • Commitment to following company policies, health and safety standards, and best practices in design and documentation.
