Job summary

Amcor in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair molding and auxiliary equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and read schematics to guide repairs.

MIG/TIG welding and fabrication duties may be required as part of maintaining continuous production. The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing maintenance and an Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to read prints/schematics.
• HVAC, plumbing and welding knowledge is beneficial.
• Effective written and oral communication skills; able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance of operating equipment and other equipment as assigned.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and program issues on molding/AMO machines and support equipment.
• Reads prints/schematics to guide adjustments and servicing.
• Performs MIG & TIG welding as needed.
• Maintains safety and lean manufacturing compliance.
• Works with other mechanics, engineering and manufacturing teams to keep plant operations running.
