Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or crane maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools.
• Knowledge of rigging gear and safe handling practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability standards.
• TWIC card required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inspections and diagnostics on mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, hubs, drive, and steer assemblies.
• Plan and execute complex repairs, including part identification and restoration to OEM specifications.
• Operate and test repaired equipment to confirm compliance with operational standards.
• Complete thorough documentation for all work orders and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Electrical & Crane Support: troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, read schematics, assist with crane maintenance.
• Gear Management: inspect rigging gear for wear, coordinate major repairs, maintain inventory records.
• Leadership & Development: mentor Level 1 and Level 2 mechanics, share best practices.
