Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and facility equipment. You will work from diagrams and manuals to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, performing advanced maintenance across the plant and ensuring safety, quality, and reliability.

This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, support wiring of control panels, and assist in training junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read blueprints.
• Read measuring instruments and perform basic failure analysis.
• Understand electronic components to troubleshoot and repair.
• Must use hand and power tools.
• 5 years industrial electrician/maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues per diagrams and manuals.
• Wire, build and troubleshoot electrical panels to NFPA/NEC standards.
• Operate basic machining tools and perform welding as needed.
• Assist and mentor junior technicians; lead small teams on projects.
• Repair and install AC/DC drives; troubleshoot PLC components.
