Job summary

Simpson Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician III in Nashville, TN to maintain a luxury community and resolve issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general systems. You’ll work with the service team to ensure units are move-in ready and collaborate with the supervisor on makeready scheduling.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, relevant HVAC/EPA certifications, and strong customer service. On-call duty is possible, with a 2,000 signing bonus and robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related multifamily/hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA certification and Fair Housing training required.
• CPO and CAMT certifications required (can be obtained after hire).
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook).
• Training on makeready scheduling, Payables Nexus, and Yardi may be obtained after hire.
• Strong customer service skills.
• On-call availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury community ensuring a quality living experience for our residents
• Identifying and resolving issues with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general systems
• Developing rapport with residents and assisting with makeready issues and leasing readiness
• Assisting the Service Supervisor with makeready schedules and unit walk-throughs
• Placing orders with approved vendors for supplies and equipment
• Maintaining strong curb appeal at the property
