Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement across the facility, working Monday through Friday, 6:00pm–6:00am. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in industrial maintenance with hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, welding, and rigging proficiency and a commitment to continuous learning

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment.
• Intermediate proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Must be able to demonstrate/achieve and maintain Maintenance Tech II proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of duties, including technically complex tasks and guidance to others.
• Provide equipment maintenance, interventions, and repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment at an intermediate level.
• Support operators with overall equipment reliability.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment set up and production changeovers.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly; report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain work records and prepare clear oral and written reports.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to meet production standards.
• Use safety precautions to minimize chemical, dust, and hazard exposure.
• Work all required schedules; day travel to nearby locations may be required.
