Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with active Illinois registration
• National certification (PTCB) or employer-approved equivalent training
• Site-specific competency validation

Responsibilities

• Perform final product verification for eligible products only when all required conditions are met, including pharmacist authorization and policy compliance.
• Verify prepared products for technical accuracy and product-to-label match.
• Check work produced by other technicians or automated systems as permitted by law.
• Assist with MTM workflows, including collecting medication histories and coordinating outreach.
• Maintain documentation of verification, training, and quality checks.
• Support order entry, labeling, packaging, and inventory procedures.
• Assist in orientation and training of technicians on workflows and quality standards.
