Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking an Advanced Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees, limbs, and shrubs in proximity to power lines. The role requires climbing and ground duties with trucks, lifts, and rigging, ensuring safety and adherence to ANSI/OSHA standards.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of tree trimming experience, a valid CDL (A or B), and CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days. Excellent problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trees and arboricultural techniques near energized conductors.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for rapport-building.
• Ability to adhere to safety standards and OSHA/ANSI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prune, remove, or fell trees near power lines using climbing equipment and ground tools.
• Operate and maintain ground and climbing equipment; perform rigging to lower branches.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment; follow safety procedures and report maintenance needs.
