Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking an Advanced Tree Trimmer to prune and remove trees, limbs, and shrubs near power lines. You will use climbing equipment, a powered trimmer lift, and ground tools to manage branches and logs, while maintaining safety and following company procedures.

The role emphasizes near-line work, proper rigging, herbicide application records, and collaboration with site personnel to protect the public and workers. Training in ANSI/OSHA standards is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in tree trimming or clearing crews or successful skills assessments.
• Must have First-Aid and CPR or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain valid driver's license and DOT medical card as required.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Trim, remove or fell trees using climbing gear and ground tools.
• Work aloft to cut branches and lower them with rigging lines.
• Operate ground tools to cut and split trees into pieces.
• Maintain safety around energized conductors and follow OSHA/ANSI standards.
