Job summary

City of Albertville seeks a Paramedic to provide advanced life support and lead EMS operations on the ambulance. You will oversee the crew, perform patient care at the scene and during transport, and ensure compliance with state and city requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet minimum physical fitness standards.
• Must have successfully completed E.M.T. Intermediate Course and be State licensed.
• Valid Alabama driver’s license with the ability to be insured by the city’s liability insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Ambulance and all personnel employed thereon.
• Provide advanced life support and emergency medical care at the scene and during transport.
