Job summary

Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, seeks an Emergency Medical Technician to join our transport and EMS teams within the HCA Healthcare family. You will provide high-quality pre-hospital and interfacility life support, perform assessments, triage and treatments according to established standards, and support patient safety during transport.

Requirements include an active NC Driver's License, current EMS licensure and BCLS, FEMA 100/200/700/800, and 3–5 years of EMT experience with 911 or

Qualifications

• Active EMS licensure and certification in North Carolina (Paramedic licensure referenced in text).
• BCLS certification required.
• Must have valid NC driver’s license; must be 21+ to meet insurance guidelines.
• FEMA 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support.
• Perform assessment, triage, and treatment according to standards/guidelines.
• Carry out EMS mission with safety as a priority throughout transport.
• Attend monthly team meetings (minimum 80%).
• Support patient care during 911 and interfacility transports.
