Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri is seeking a skilled technician to perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems, while maintaining stock levels and supporting manufacturing operations in the St. Louis area.

The role requires 4+ years of troubleshooting and/or assembling electromechanical equipment, ideally medical devices, with ability to read blueprints and schematics, document engineering activities, and train

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting and/or assembling electromechanical equipment, ideally medical devices or instruments.
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for filling, packaging equipment & instrument manufacturing, assisting in improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of engineering activities, including process improvements and repair activities, to support operational transparency.
• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
• Ensures proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
